Garnet Maturine was used as a Pilgrim during our 2023 Level Up Youth Camp.

Pastor Garnet Maturine of Mt. Moritz, father of six; two boys (Jeffery, Nathan), 4 girls (Yvette, Jeanette, Nadine, Frieda) was married to Sis. Norma Maturine.

Pastor Garnet Maturine was not only the Bible Holiness first Field Superintendent 1973 – 1986, but he would later reprise that role in 1989 – 1992.

He was known for riding motorcycles, as they were his primary mode of transportation. Whether storm or calm weather, he consistently pastored or administered over several local assemblies. Notably the Clozier Bible Holiness church.

One of his most iconic sayings was “I Don’t have a testimony; I am a testimony!”

He loved reading and studying and inspired his family to do the same.

He was a big believer in family and had great respect for the family unit, his and others.

In 2012, He went home to meet his wife who died in 2008.

He is remembered as an ardent lover of God, things of God and committed his life to the Bible Holiness Church.
