Max Acuff was used as a Pilgrim during our 2023 Level Up Youth Camp.

Brother Acuff and national workers spent many days building two lovely churches on the island.

A notable place in Grenada called Redmud was interesting for him. A small plot of land was loaned to the church for a building.

Bro Acuff and helpers made cement blocks and built a nice small church with a tin roof. Crowds would come with gasoline lanterns they would have service. The Lord met with them there and souls were saved.

Bro. Acuff followed the principle of Ecclesiastes 9:10 “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might for there is no work, nor devise…in the grave whither thou goest.”

Brother Acuff did not shy away from manual labor and was known for it. A Grenadian right described him as a bulldozer, for wherever he passed things began to move.

Brother Acuff was very instrumental in the building of the St. George’s and Victoria Bible Holiness churches.

The churches he built as well as other projects, denote the character of beauty and durability.

He was a good spiritual leader, who dealt kindly, gently yet firmly showing no partiality.

He was a man of hospitality.

He was a good soldier, a prayer warrior and visitor to his home could be hear him praying.
